Eddie Kalel has spent the last 12 years working in the insurance industry. After graduating from the USC Marshall School of Business, he spent the next 6 years counseling and showing clients how simply having the right insurance policy can dramatically protect their wealth. He worked closely with Electronic Arts (EA), Deloitte & Touché, and the USC & UCLA Alumni Association through Liberty Mutual’s Affinity and Group Savings Plus program. He spent the better part of the next decade as a State Farm agent, owning an agency in California then in Arizona. Having inherited a book of business comprised of most retired and elderly clients, he spent a tremendous amount of time advising clients on all aspects of their finances: saving, debt-management, and retirement planning. Armed with his Series 6 & 63 license, he worked closely with clients on retirement planning through acquisition of tax-sheltered Annuities, Mutual Funds, and 401k/IRA’s Rollovers.
Eddie grew up in Los Angeles and roots hard for his Dodgers and Lakers and enjoys going back home to watch his Trojans play. He’s divorced and the proud father of 3 wonderful kids.
